About the Role
Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC) is seeking a per diem Staff Nurse to provide nursing care in the Inpatient Units, Crisis and Acute Psychiatric Services. The primary purpose is to deliver person-centered, goal-directed nursing care in alignment with departmental and hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The staff nurse works as part of an interdisciplinary team to support high-quality patient care.
What You'll Do
- Provide person-centered, goal-directed nursing care in inpatient and crisis/acute psychiatric settings.
- Adhere to departmental and hospital policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate as a member of an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Support per diem scheduling and flexibility to meet unit needs.
