The staff accountant should have experience with AP/AR, reconciliations, journal entries.
The staff accountant should have some experience with either grants, government, non-profit, funds, something along those lines.
The staff accountant should have a good attitude and good work ethic.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in preparing corporate tax returns and managing sales tax.
- Strong knowledge of journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
- Experience with financial reconciliations and reporting.
- Familiarity with grants, government, non-profit, or fund accounting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
