About the Role
- Première Urgence Internationale (PUI) is seeking qualified Medical Doctors to manage the day-to-day clinical care of patients with Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) and medical complications at its Stabilization Centers in Katsina and Monguno. The role involves clinical supervision, team management, monitoring, reporting, and coordination with health and nutrition stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily ward rounds and oversee the clinical management of SAM patients according to approved protocols.
- Monitor vital signs, medication, feeding, investigations, and other required medical procedures.
- Handle emergencies, including resuscitation, and make appropriate admission and referral decisions.
- Supervise SC Nurses, Nurse Assistants, and other relevant staff to ensure quality patient care.
