Job Description
Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine, as a Special Procedures Nurse in CCD 5th Prep & Recovery at our Hyde Park campus.
As a Special Procedures Nurse, you will provide goal-directed nursing care that is individualized to the needs of patients and families during health and illness.
Under the direction of an attending physician or licensed independent practitioner, the RN provides technically complex nursing care for patients undergoing specialized procedures. Responsibilities include moderate sedation, intravenous infusions, specialized monitoring during procedures and recovery, comprehensive patient assessment, documentation, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
