Role Overview The Spare Parts Officer is responsible for managing the availability, storage, issuance, and proper documentation of spare parts and technical components. The role ensures that spare parts are accurately recorded, properly stored, readily available for repairs and maintenance, and efficiently controlled to minimize stock losses and downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming spare parts and accessories.
- Maintain accurate records of spare parts received, issued, returned, and transferred.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests when items reach minimum stock levels.
- Issue spare parts to technicians and service personnel based on approved requests.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, storage, and organization of spare parts.
