Job Purpose
- The Sortex Operator ensures accurate sorting of hulled sesame seeds using electronic color sorting machines, delivering high-quality output in compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- The role focuses on machine operation, product quality assurance, and adherence to hygiene and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and adjust Sortex machines for optimal seed sorting.
- Inspect sorted seeds for compliance with quality specifications (color, size, defects).
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of Sortex equipment.
- Record production and machine performance data accurately.
- Uphold GMP, HACCP, and safety standards in all operations.
- Conduct sanitation tasks and maintain hygienic work areas.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
