About the Role
Xaira Therapeutics is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Platform team to design, build, and deploy the AI infrastructure that powers our research. You will collaborate with AI scientists and engineers to enable the use of thousands of GPUs for training and inference of biological foundation models. The role covers MLOps of GPU clusters and backend engineering of control plane APIs, with a focus on scalable training job submission across multiple clusters.
What You'll Do
- Develop and improve our model training system that dispatches distributed training jobs to clusters across multiple clouds.
- Deploy storage subsystems to improve dataset management and throughput for training datasets.
- Build evaluation infrastructure that enables easy execution and tracking.
