Apex Systems is seeking a Software Engineer I to support the NIWC Pacific Information Technology Management Support Services (ITMSS) program. This role focuses on developing secure software applications and web services in support of Department of Defense missions across both classified and unclassified environments.
- San Diego, CA (100% Onsite)
- 6-month contract to hire
- Pay Rate: 60+/hr while on contract / 125k - 135k salary conversion salary
- Secret Clearance Required
- IAT Level II Certification Required (Security+, CySA+, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, or CCNA Security)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain secure software applications using Python and JavaScript.
- Build and support web applications, APIs, and data integration services utilizing:
- REST
- SOAP
- GraphQL
- Follow DevSecOps, Agile/Scrum, and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
