Shipping & Receiving Supervisor
Location: Seward, NE
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supervise Material Handlers and ensure proper procedures and policies are being followed
- Enforce and uphold Golden Pet Manufacturing work rules, policies, procedures and report any known violation
- Supervise loading and unloading of trailers to include inspection of the same
- Maintain, update and develop shipping and receiving documents as needed
- Investigate root cause and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Coordinate and prioritize selection of orders, stock transfers, and production receipts as it relates to safety, quality and efficiency
- Maintain established pre-shipment inspection programs to prevent incorrect stock shipments
- Maintain effective employee relations to improve motivation and productivity through the use of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing concepts
