Service Engineer
Purpose
The Service Engineer is responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, servicing and supporting security systems across customer sites. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with company and industry standards.
Major Responsibilities
- Maintain intruder alarm, access control and video surveillance systems to required standards and regulations across customer sites.
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work.
- Provide first-line technical support for fault finding, diagnosis and servicing of security systems.
- Respond to service calls and planned maintenance visits using the PDA handheld system.
- Work closely with the Service Manager and Service Desk team to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
