About the Role The Senior Medical Science Liaison - Obesity is a field-based medical affairs role responsible for providing scientific and clinical expertise to key external stakeholders across CA, AZ, and HI to support Amgen’s obesity portfolio. The position reports to the Obesity MSL Lead and aims to translate scientific data into clinically meaningful information to improve patient outcomes. What You'll Do
- Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to Opinion Leaders (OLs), Population Health Decision Makers (PHDMs) and other healthcare providers, executing Amgen Medical function and product strategy with compliance.
- Spend the majority of time on peer-to-peer activities with obesity and related conditions OLs, community healthcare providers, and PHDMs to discuss and advance the scientific platform in line with Amgen goals.
