Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
About this role
Section: Overview A leading MEP Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead HVAC design, MEP BIM coordination, and the technical delivery of Mechanical Building Services projects from concept through construction and handover.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Design & Build projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.
Section: Responsibilities
- Lead HVAC design, including chilled water, VRF/VRV, AHU/FAHU/FCU, ventilation, and smoke management systems.
- Perform load calculations and equipment sizing.
- Design plumbing and fire protection systems in line with relevant standards.
- Develop and coordinate BIM models using Revit MEP (LOD 200–400) and conduct clash detection with Navisworks.
- Prepare tender, IFC, shop, and as-built drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
