About the Role
The Senior Manager, External Manufacturing will join the Manufacturing organization to lead external manufacturing operations (CDMOs) with a focus on gene-editing and late-stage qualification. This hands-on role reports to the Director, External Manufacturing & Technology and can be based at Allogene's South San Francisco headquarters or in Newark, CA.
What You'll Do
- Oversight of external manufacturing partners to ensure on-time supply which meets quality, compliance and regulatory requirements
- Lead cross-functional Joint Management Teams (JMTs) comprised of Quality, Supply Chain, MSAT, etc. to ensure objectives are met in accordance with Allogene CMO governance and oversight practices
- Through on-site presence, establish professional credibility and build sustainable relationships to achieve defined program objectives
