POSITION SUMMARY:

Marathon Petroleum Company LP has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Senior Commercial Sourcing Advisor supporting the Los Angeles Refinery. This role is open to Los Angeles, CA.

The successful candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work with various internal and external stakeholders in a collaborative manner. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, able to conduct basic market analysis, develop bid packages, analyze proposals using a total cost of ownership methodology, negotiate and execute Purchase Orders, establish and maintain strategic business relationships with key suppliers, and validate cost savings. The preferred candidate would be able to thrive in a dynamic environment with a TAR liaison focus and extensive material knowledge.
