Position Overview: We are seeking a Sr. Accountant with experience in a professional services environment who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is eager to contribute to a collaborative leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and revenue recognition
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Document and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Coordinate and file monthly sales tax filings (experience with Avalara preferred)
- Liaise with external factoring companies, auditors, and tax advisors
- Support implementation and enhancements of accounting systems and process improvements
