Section: Responsibilities
- Provide school health services and medical care within the school
- Coordinate health-related activities and respond to medical emergencies promptly
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
Section: Requirements
- Registered/licensed nurse qualification with a current practising licence from the relevant nursing council
- Strong skills in school nursing and school health
- Clinical skills in nursing and medicine for safe, evidence-based care and emergency response
- Knowledge and experience in paediatrics
- Previous experience in a school or paediatric healthcare setting is highly beneficial
- Strong communication, documentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with learners, families and staff
- Training in first aid, CPR and emergency response
- Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection standards
