Job Title: Sand Blasting and Painting Technician

Reports to: Valve Assembly Team Lead
Job Summary
- Surface cleaning, preparation, and sandblasting. Applying primer and topcoat to valves, in accordance with Company’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare surface areas prior to sandblasting. Prepare valve surfaces by abrasive blasting and masking.
- Complete pre-start equipment checks.
- Carry out abrasive sandblasting and industrial painting of valves in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain sandblasting tools and equipment.
- Accurately maintain required records and documentation for each project.
- Responsibly manage consumable supplies and raw materials.
- Inspect units and parts scheduled to be painted
- Clean and wipe down valves
