Job title: Safety Officer
Job Description We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards at our factory in Nasarawa State.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies at the factory
- Conduct routine safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian safety regulations and factory safety standards
- Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare safety reports
- Organize safety trainings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills
- Ensure proper use of PPE and enforce safety procedures on site.
Requirements
- Minimum of HND / BSc in Safety Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- 2–5 yearsrelevant experience in a factory or industrial environment
