Route Driver
- Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Safely load, deliver, and unload compressed gas cylinders (HP and LP) containing industrial, medical, and specialty gases; return empty cylinders to branch or plant for refilling.
- Perform all required pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations.
- Complete all FDA/DOT required documentation.
- Track delivery and pick-up of cylinders at customer sites using handheld device and complete all the required information/steps during the delivery and pick-up processes.
- Keep truck clean and in line with DOT standards.
- Communicate with supervisor on truck maintenance, customer-related issues, and delivery efficiencies.
- Establish and maintain good customer relations by communicating in person with customers.
