Job Description

• The Restaurant Cashier is responsible for processing customer payments accurately, issuing receipts, maintaining cash accountability, and providing excellent customer service.
• The cashier ensures all sales transactions are recorded correctly while supporting the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers professionally and courteously.
• Process cash, POS, bank transfer, and card payments accurately.
• Issue receipts and maintain proper transaction records.
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Prepare daily sales reports and reconcile cash shortages or overages.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and payment-related issues professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure orders are billed correctly.
