Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate cases for multiple specialties in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Nursing responsibilities are assigned under the clinical supervision of a nursing supervisor
- Coordinate and provide care for a multi-specialty surgical population, including pediatric and adult populations
- Perform patient transfers as needed
- Ability to lift and carry twenty-five (25) pounds
- Ability to wear lead for surgical procedures
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, and bend for extended periods
- Ability to reach, push, and pull frequently throughout duration of shift
- Work collaboratively to prepare rooms between cases
- Participate in problem solving efforts for the department, on-going QA activities, new employee orientation, and student education
