About this role
Quality Control & HSE Officer
Section: Overview and responsibilities for the role are as follows.
- Inspect incoming materials and components before production
- Monitor GRP/composite, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fit-out and finishing activities
- Establish and enforce QC inspection and production hold points
- Issue Accepted, Rejected or Conditional Acceptance status for defined work packages
- Raise and track NCRs, corrective actions and rework and close-out
- Monitor quality, recurring defects and rework trends
- Conduct pre-launch, final, functional, leak and systems inspections, including sea trials where applicable
- Conduct HSE inspections and enforce safe working practices
- Monitor chemical, fire, electrical, lifting and work-at-height risks
- Support toolbox talks, inductions, incident investigations and audits
