Quality Control Assistant
About this role
The Quality Control Assistant helps ensure that sesame, soyabeans, and other traded commodities meet ECOM's quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role assists with commodity sampling, inspection, testing, grading, stock quality monitoring, documentation, and reporting activities across warehouses and operational locations to maintain product quality throughout the supply chain.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in sampling, inspecting, grading, and testing incoming and outgoing commodities.

Conduct routine quality checks on moisture levels, foreign matter, purity, and other quality parameters.

Support warehouse inspections to identify quality risks such as moisture damage, contamination, pest infestation, or poor storage conditions.

Assist in monitoring stock quality and reporting non-conforming products for corrective action.
