QC & Test Drive Technician
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial road tests to confirm customer complaints
- Inspect completed jobs against job cards, repair orders and manufacturer standards
- Perform post-repair road tests
- Confirm defects are fully rectified before vehicle release
- Reject vehicles that do not meet required standards and state corrective actions
- Re-inspect vehicles after rework before release
- Escalate recurring or unresolved technical defects
Requirements
- 1–2 years’ proven experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably in the automotive industry or service centre
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and equipment
- ND, HND or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and technical automotive training is an advantage
