Section: Responsibilities
- Source and purchase supermarket products while maintaining quality and cost standards.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory needs and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers and monitor vendor performance.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Verify deliveries and resolve supply discrepancies.
- Monitor market trends and recommend suitable products or suppliers.
Section: Requirements
- Minimum OND in Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant purchasing/procurement experience in a supermarket or retail environment.
- Hands-on experience sourcing a wide range of supermarket products.
