About the Role Public Safety Officer provides unarmed uniformed security and safety-related services at Edward Hospital. Working per diem and part-time, this role supports the hospital’s mission by protecting people and property while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
What You'll Do
- Patrols assigned areas of facilities and grounds on foot or in motorized vehicle according to established schedule; investigates unusual occurrences; reports incidents or potential loss of hospital, employee, patient or visitor property; involves police when necessary and assists during investigations.
- Responds to service calls in a timely, safe, professional, and courteous manner.
- Welcomes customers to the Hospital; provides timely and accurate directions to patients and visitors and offers escort to destinations when possible.
