Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate a highly visible enterprise data modernization initiative focused on the final stages of a Hadoop-to-Databricks migration. This individual will play a key role in driving execution, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring a safe and seamless transition with minimal business disruption. The program has executive visibility and may expand to support additional legacy data and system modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of Hadoop decommissioning activities following migration to Databricks.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules, execution plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate the completion of decommissioning checklists, dependencies, and validation activities.
