About the role
This role manages all Divisional Underwriting within Sub Saharan Africa including the establishment, implementation and evaluation of production and profitability goals. This position has direct accountability for the business results of Commercial Property Sub Saharan Africa with respect to profitability, penetration and/or volume within a specific account, segment, geographic area, product or line of business. The role provides overall leadership internally and externally for all Commercial Property
- Ensure that production growth targets are achieved and provide leadership to take remedial action to address shortfalls
- Take accountability for Profit Centre P&L
- Business Operations
- Establish / execute strategic business plans to achieve profitable growth in line with Profit Centre & country targets
