About this role
Position Summary
Under the leadership of the Director, Training & Prevention, and as a member of SVR Training & Prevention team, the Prevention Coordinator designs, delivers, and evaluates primary prevention education for the Columbia community including programming on affirmative consent, healthy relationships, and bystander intervention for athletes, fraternities and sororities, and undergraduate and graduate student organizations and academic departments.
This role co-leads SVR’s volunteer programming, helps coordinate NSOP, Club Refuel, and certification trainings, and represents SVR in cross-campus and community partnerships, all in the support of the department’s broader goal of community-based culture change and compliance with New York State’s Enough Is Enough legislation.
