POSITION SUMMARY The Engineering Designer is responsible for providing support activities regarding delivery of custom busbar assemblies to our customer base. Busbar is primarily an Engineered-To-Order product, which means each customer order is specifically engineered for each customer. This generally leads to higher complexity and variation for departments supporting this product family. The Assistant will be responsible for design and documentation, engineering support regarding ERP activities, and BOM management and control using our product life cycle management (PLM) and manufacturing systems. This role will involve cross functional team support throughout the design and release process with both internal and external stakeholders such as key factory personnel.
