Payment Recovery Specialist I
SUMMARY: The Payment Recovery Specialist I oversees the daily operations of loans under bankruptcy protection and/or charge-off stature. This includes providing daily direction to the department's workflow and processing of functions within a bankruptcy filing chapter 7, 11, or 13, or a charge-off status. This oversight includes monitoring of the bankrupt/charge off portfolio and the attorneys/collection agency associated with the loans. This role requires close coordination with various departments, vendors, and outside counsel. Additional duties may include posting chapter 13 payments, and/or recovery payments.
