About this role
The Job You Will Perform The OMC is responsible for coordination of the operations and maintenance functions within the department to maximize the budgets and the reliability of equipment. The OMC will accomplish results by driving reliability best practices into the daily operation of the business in the Paper areas. The OMC, Paper reports to the Business Unit Manager, Paper. Responsibilities include:
- Maintains budgeted production requirements at planned quality and lowest possible cost.
- Works with maintenance staff to determine ways to assure and improve the reliability of equipment and systems.
- Assure safety awareness, safe work and compliance with safety rules and policies in all work performed by Crew.
- Provides assistance and technical advice necessary to assist in the operations process.
