Job Summary
Provide professional nursing leadership and administrative direction for nursing practice within the Kellogg Eye Center Operating Rooms. This includes supervision of nursing, surgical technologists, and support staff. Share 24/7 phone/pager coverage that addresses department operational needs.
Participate as an active member of the leadership team focusing on daily staffing, scheduling as well as operational needs.
Additionally, the nursing supervisor will play an active role in recruitment efforts, hiring, continuous quality improvement, safety, customer service, service recovery, education and research.
Participate as a member of the leadership team to provide, and continually improve, health care services, and to support the mission and goals of the health system.
