Corewell Health is hiring a Nurse Assistant - Progressive Care for the 6 North West unit at Royal Oak Hospital (Royal Oak, MI), a 35-bed unit offering patient-family centered Medical and Progressive Level of Care. This is a full-time, on-site day-shift role (6:30am-7pm, Monday to Friday, every third weekend), and Corewell Health is offering up to $1500 as a sign-on bonus for this opportunity.
The Nurse Assistant provides care to patients according to the plan of care and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, serving as a patient observer for constant-observation patients (in person or via remote video monitoring), general receptionist and clerical duties for the nursing unit, and documentation of care in the electronic medical record.
