Role Overview
- The role is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the school’s network infrastructure, including switches, access points, firewalls and internet connectivity.
- It supports network availability, performance and security, working with the IT team, ISPs and vendors to resolve issues and implement network improvements across the campus.
Key Responsibilities
Network Operations and Administration:
- Administer and maintain the school’s wired and wireless network infrastructure.
- Configure, monitor and troubleshoot switches, wireless access points, routers, firewalls and other network equipment.
- Support network services including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and VLANs.
- Maintain reliable network connectivity across classrooms, offices, boarding areas and other campus facilities.
