Job Responsibilities Operate, calibrate, and maintain weather monitoring instruments and automated observation systems. Prepare and disseminate routine and special weather reports in accordance with Navy and Amentum standards. Assist in forecasting support by compiling observational data and identifying weather patterns. Monitor severe weather conditions and provide timely alerts to operational personnel. Maintain accurate logs, digital records, and equipment maintenance documentation. Collaborate with engineering, aviation, and operational teams to ensure weather data accuracy and mission readiness. Perform other job-related duties as assigned that are consistent with the nature and level of the position.
