Metallographic Technician
As a Metallographic Technician, you'll prepare and evaluate material samples for microscopic examination, ensuring high-quality results for customers and internal projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and sectioning metal and material samples
- Mounting, grinding, polishing and etching samples
- Performing routine metallographic evaluations
- Recording test data and observations accurately
- Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
- Supporting investigations and materials analysis projects
- Maintaining laboratory quality, safety and housekeeping standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement activities
What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to follow detailed procedures
