Mental Health Therapist - Mental Health Unit - Full time
The Mental Health Therapist provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments and crisis intervention on the mental health unit. This role is responsible for delivering brief therapeutic interventions in individual and family formats, including safety planning. This role is responsible for mandated reporting as needed. The mental health therapists collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and execute personalized treatment plans that effectively address behavioral health diagnoses and complex social needs. This role requires participation in group and milieu activities with patients as directed by unit need. The therapist is also responsible for collaborating with community agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
