Main Function To conduct accurate, timely, and reliable laboratory testing and reporting while ensuring effective quality control, proper maintenance of laboratory equipment, adequate management of reagents and supplies, confidentiality of patient information, and compliance with laboratory, infection control, HSE, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and accurately report laboratory test results.
- Conduct quality control checks and ensure laboratory equipment is functional and properly maintained.
- Manage laboratory reagents, consumables, ordering, receiving, and inventory.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and prepare periodic activity reports.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information and laboratory results.
