Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Lead and direct the general mechanic team in a goal-oriented environment to deliver results in the areas of safety, engagement, and reliability excellence. Manage team compliance with company and mill policies, procedures, and other requirements. Approve pay and vacation scheduling for the team, and complete other administrative tasks consistent with the requirements of the labor agreement and mill/company policy. Responsible for team’s time and attendance, performance, and record keeping Conduct 1:1s with employees to provide and receive guidance and development feedback. Identify individual and organizational training needs and implement training plans (hard and soft skills). Continually assess training needs of crew members in order to provide learning opportunities Coordinate with operations to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.
