Job Summary
An opportunity for a Lead Mechanical Engineer is available with Facilities Planning and Development, UM Health. The position reports to the Manager of Engineering. The Facilities Planning and Development department provides a broad spectrum of services related to facilities operations and project construction.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of engineering work in the planning and design of the various mechanical systems used in healthcare facilities. These systems include HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and medical gas systems. Coordination and/or participation in the preparation of estimates and/or plans and specifications for several concurrent new building, building renovation, and/or infrastructure upgrade projects.
