Position Summary Interfacing with cross functional teams, this Research and Development Mechanical Drafter provides department support for creation of new and revisions to existing solid models and drawings, Responsible for the creation and compliance of design control documentation in the PLM System (Agile)
Principal Responsibilities
- Create models from existing detailed drawings and parts utilizing existing drawings, CT Scans of existing and dimensioning existing parts.
- Perform reverse engineering from point cloud data for legacy components that do not currently have models or detailed drawings.
- Prepare dimensional drawings and more complex drawings.
- Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes, in collaboration with associated team members to ensure consistent documentation of the project.
