Job Overview The Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company's trucks and heavy-duty vehicles to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and available for daily haulage operations at our Calabar location.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on company trucks and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and determine the appropriate repair requirements.
- Inspect engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and other mechanical components.
- Carry out preventive maintenance according to the company's maintenance schedule.
- Repair or replace defective mechanical components.
- Conduct oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, brake servicing, and other routine maintenance.
