About the Role
We are hiring a Material Handler for BASF's Coatings division in Greenville, OH. In this 3rd shift role, you will help keep production moving by loading/unloading materials, staging, and safely operating powered industrial equipment. Safety is BASF’s top priority.
What You'll Do
- Load and off-load packaged materials
- Stage materials to support production
- Operate powered industrial trucks such as forklifts and yard tractors
- Maintain inspections equipment and perform housekeeping duties
- Become multi-functional and knowledgeable about Material Handler tasks
- Collaborate with team members and adapt to changing priorities
- Support process safety programs, participate in audits, Pre-Start Up Safety Reviews, PHAs, and hazard/risk assessments
- Complete assigned action items in a timely manner
