About the Role
The Manufacturing Engineer ensures proper operation and continuous information of the machining area by optimizing processes, tools and parameters to achieve stable, efficient, and high-quality operations that meet production and cost targets while reducing scrap, downtime and variability. What You'll Do
- Ensure stability and capability of machining processes.
- Optimize machining process parameters.
- Define, validate, and follow up on cutting tools (tool life and performance).
- Coordinate and ensure proper maintenance of tooling to guarantee availability and performance.
- Analyze and solve process issues using root cause analysis.
- Reduce scrap, downtime, and process variability.
- Implement continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency and cost.
- Support production during deviations and technical downtime.
