About the Role The Manufacturing Engineer will be a system expert for Powdered Metal Pressing and Sizing operations, responsible for monitoring and optimizing press performance, maintaining setup documentation, and leading capital projects and new part launches to drive process improvements.
What You'll Do
- Serve as system expert for Powdered Metal Pressing and Sizing Operations.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of each press's setup, operation, and maintenance; monitor condition and troubleshoot.
- Analyze performance data to develop process improvements and contribute to work instructions and process documentation.
- Maintain library of Setup Masters for all presses and lead setup, testing, validation, and operation of new equipment.
- Lead problem-solving teams for operational or customer concerns; advise on new product feasibility and tool design.
