Job title: Maintenance Technician Team Lead
Job Summary
- Maintenance Team Lead ensure all machines and equipment are always available for production use through practice of effective maintenance programs that reduce emergency breakdowns to the barest level, and at a minimum cost.
Responsibilities
- Identify jobs and allocate same to the technician for execution
- Supervises junior associates to ensure that they carry out jobs according to instructions
- To ensure that the necessary safety precautions are observed in executing tasks
- Logs and documents all maintenance activities in the required logbooks
- Ensures optimal spare parts and maintenance materials inventory management
- Develops and coaches, and provides feedback to team members for better performance
- Establishes and maintains productive relationships with team, internal customers and stakeholders
