Role Purpose: The Logistics Officer is responsible for the efficient, timely, and cost-effective coordination of logistics operations, with specific responsibility for interplant transfers, movement of bulk materials from designated storage areas to plants, and rail transfers. The role ensures the smooth flow of materials and products by effectively planning, coordinating, monitoring, documenting, and communicating assigned movements, while proactively addressing delays and minimizing storage costs, transport inefficiencies, and supply disruptions.
