Job Objectives The Legal and Compliance Officer will support the legal and compliance functions by providing legal guidance, developing and implementing compliance policies, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Legal:
- Provide legal guidance on business operations, contracts, and agreements
- Review and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Manage litigation and disputes.
Compliance:
Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures, including:
- Data protection policies (NDPA and GDPR)
- Anti-money laundering (AML) policies
- Whistleblowing policies
- Monitor and report compliance with laws and regulations
- Conduct training and awareness programs
