General Description The Religion Department at Pacific Lutheran University invites applications for a part-time lecturer position to teach one section of Health and Healing in Christian History RELI 229. This course will be taught online and asynchronously in January-term 2027, and open only to students enrolled in PLU’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing ABSN program. The successful candidate will have expertise in religion and medicine in Christian history, and will have taught online (preferably with experience using Canvas).
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Teach one (1) section of RELI 229 in January-term 2027.

- Commitment to effective teaching at the undergraduate level.
- Teacher-scholar trained in religion and medicine in Christian history.
